There are local JET offices across Liverpool, based in neighbourhoods that have traditionally suffered from disadvantage and high levels of unemployment.

Staff located at the JET offices can help with information, advice and guidance for local people, to help them into appropriate training and job opportunities across the city and beyond.

There are also members of the JET Business Team based within these offices to help local businesses tap into the pool of local labour, and to access products, services and funding from the JET Service and our partners. The People Pool is the branch of the JET Service based in the city centre, dedicated to supporting employers in the city centre and beyond.

These staff have specialist knowledge of the local labour market and of the employment sectors operating in their area. They offer advice to businesses on recruitment, training and retention issues.

The Liverpool JET Service is funded by Government and European funding and is therefore able to offer its services free of charge. This funding includes Working Neighbourhoods Fund, European Social Fund and European Regional Development Fund.
