Training & Development

If you want your business to reach its potential, you need to have the right staff with the right skills.

The Liverpool JET Service provides access to both pre and post-recruitment training. Often this is designed in conjunction with the employer to specifically meet your company's individual needs.

The major training courses that are delivered or commissioned directly by the JET Service include:

Skills Passport

The Skills Passport was designed to improve the employment prospects of local residents, whilst addressing the recruitment needs of local employers. We work with employers in designing the Passport, ensuring the specific skills and competencies they require are included.

It takes the form of a package of training, divided into different modules, which on completion make participants more attractive to employers. The Passport in most cases will lead to a guaranteed interview. To find out more about the Skills Passport contact us.

Routeway

The Routeway Programme offers employers a customised training package, designed by the Liverpool Employment Programme Team and the Learning & Skills Council.

Following intensive accredited training an employer will be offered the opportunity to engage trainees on a 20 day work placement which can be waged if there is a job guarantee on completion. For more information on the Routeway Programme please contact us.
